I see you are only open 2 hours on Sundays.  Who is taking care of my pet?

Although we are only open 2 hours to the public on Sundays, our staff still comes in to feed, water and take care of our guests.

 

What can I bring for my dog?

We do not accept beds, but blankets, sheets and towels are acceptable for bedding.  We also accept two to three toys per pet.

 

Can I board my dog and cat together?

We do not allow dogs and cats to board together because it may upset our other guests.

 

My dog is aggressive to other dogs.  Can I still board him with you?

Yes.  We do not allow pets from different owners to interact, thus a dog aggressive pet won't bother other pets.

 

Do you offer group playtime or group daycare?

Our Group Day Care is in full swing, call us for details.

 

What vaccinations are required?

The vaccinations we require are as follows:

    Dogs -   Annual: DHLPP (Parvo-Distemper Combo)

                   Annual: BV (Bordetella or Canine Cough)

                   Every 3 years: BV (Rabies)

    Cats - Annual: FVRCP (Distemper),   FeLV (Leukemia),  RV (Rabies)

 

Why do I have to have my dog(s) Bordetella vaccination?

  Bordetella (Canine Cough) is a highly contagious upper respiratory infection caused by a bacteria and may result in pneumonia. This vaccine is recommended for any dog kept in close quarters with other dogs such as boarding and grooming facilities.

 

Do you board animals other than dogs and cats?

No, we only board dogs and cats.

 

Are there weight limits for my pets?

No, we do not have a weight limit.

 

Do you have breed restrictions?

No, we do not restrict any specific breeds, however we do not accept human-aggressive pets.

 

Do you offer grooming?

We do offer full grooming, our groomer is in Mon. -  Sat.

 

Do I have to bring my own food?

You are welcome to bring your own food, but we offer Precise Dry which is a quality dry food that we will feed your pet at no extra cost.

 

Is there a check out time?

Yes, check out time is 1:00 PM, if you do not check out by 1:00 PM you will be charged for the day.

 

Reservation Policies.

If your pet is to board with the Tomball Pet Resort during the peak periods (all summer months  June 1 thru August 30), Spring Break or any major holiday, the Tomball Pet Resort reserves the right to require a non-refundable pre-payment for the total boarding cost at the time the reservation is made.

 

Cancellation Policies.

Once your reservation is confirmed by credit card, cancelling your reservation or failing to show will result in a charge for the entire stay for your pet to your credit card.
